Tomato and Basil Soup
Ingredients
2 kilograms of Tomatoes
1 Onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 Fresh basil bunch
Olive oil
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Wash the tomatoes and cut them into large chunks.
Step 2 : Then, peel and chop the onion and garlic.
Step 3 : In a large pot, heat a little olive oil and add the onion and garlic, sautéing until golden.
Step 4 : Next, add the tomatoes and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5 : Add the fresh basil and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 6 : Remove the pot from the heat and let the soup cool slightly.
