Pea Soup
Ingredients
½ kilogram of Peas
1 Salted rabo
1 Medium onion
1 Small tomato
2 Garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of Chopped cilantro
1 Chopped celery stalk
1 liter of Water
1 tablespoon of Oil
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious pea soup, first soak the peas in water for approximately 2 hours.
Step 2 : Then, wash and drain them.
Step 3 : In a pot with water, place the peas to soften along with the chopped rabo.
Step 4 : When the peas start to fall apart, it indicates that the soup is ready.
Step 5 : Meanwhile, in a skillet with oil, sauté the onions, tomato, garlic, and celery.
Step 6 : Add cilantro, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 7 : Add this sauté to the pot with the peas and rabo.
