Panamanian Style Fish Head Soup
Ingredients
6 Fish heads
4 Fish wheels
½ cup of Onion
2 Garlic cloves
Green recao
Seedless hot pepper
½ kilogram of Name
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : The fish heads and wheels are thoroughly cleaned and cut, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Step 2 : Set aside for later use.
Step 3 : Peel and chop the nape.
Step 4 : In a pot with a little oil, add the chopped garlic until lightly golden.
Step 5 : Then, add the chopped onion and cook until caramelized.
Step 6 : Add half of the chopped green recao and cook for about 3 minutes.
Step 7 : Next, add enough water to cover the ingredients, bring to a boil, and add the chopped nape, stirring and cooking until tender.
Step 8 : Add the fish heads and wheels, the remaining green recao, salt, and pepper, and cook everything for about 10 minutes.
Step 9 : Once the cooking process is complete, the dish will be ready to enjoy.
