Ingredients

5 Tender corn cobs

1 Chicken breast

Chicken bones

1 Medium sweet chile

1 Small onion

2 Garlic cloves

2 Tomatoes

Oil

Achiote

Oregano

Cilantro

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, first boil the chicken bones to make the broth.

Step 2 : In parallel, grind the corn with half of the onion and one garlic clove.

Step 3 : Then, clean the chicken breast and sauté it together with the remaining onion, garlic, oregano, cilantro, and tomato.

Step 4 : If desired, add a tablespoon of tomato sauce.

Step 5 : Next, cook the ground and strained corn mixture together with some of the chicken broth from the bones.

Step 6 : Let it cook over low heat until everything is well cooked.

Step 7 : Add some chicken stew or sofrito to the corn mixture in the pot and stir until reaching the desired thickness.

Step 8 : Finally, serve the Corn Seren with the chicken and a little chopped cilantro for a fresh and colorful touch.
