Homemade Seafood Soup

Ingredients

1 kilogram of Corvina fillet

1 kilogram of Shrimp

1 kilogram of Conch shells

1 kilogram of Clams

1 kilogram of Oysters or quahog

1 Onion

2 Tomatoes

2 Sweet peppers

2 Cilantro leaves

1 kilogram of Yuca

1 pound of Otoe

200 grams of Peeled and chopped otoe

¼ teaspoon of Oregano

1 cup of Coconut milk

1 Lemon

5 cups of Fish broth

2 tablespoons of Wheat flour

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Clean the fish and cut into fillets, reserving the tail, head, and bones to prepare the fish broth.

Step 2 : Next, clean and cut the yuca, otoe, and anchovy into pieces, setting them aside.

Step 3 : Cut the fillets into cubes and season with salt and lemon juice, then coat them with flour and fry in a pan with hot oil.

Step 4 : Once fried, remove from heat.

Step 5 : In a separate pot, sauté the seafood along with the onion, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and cilantro.

Step 6 : Add the fish broth, yuca, otoe, and anchovy cuttings, and cook the mixture for approximately 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Step 7 : Then, add the coconut milk, fried fish, and oregano, adjusting the salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8 : Cook everything together for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 9 : Finally, serve hot and enjoy.
