Gallo Pinto Soup
Ingredients
3 cups of Rice
1 teaspoon of Annatto
1 Onion
1 Green pepper
2 cups of Beans
1 Tomato
1 Red pepper
1 kilogram of Pork ribs
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Green recao
Garlic and salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by placing the chopped sauté with garlic in a skillet and add the previously chopped ribs.
Step 2 : Stir everything to brown.
Step 3 : In another skillet separately, prepare another sauté with annatto, green pepper, red pepper, and onion to form a reddish sauce that will be placed on top of the dish.
Step 4 : Once the Chiricano beans are tender, add soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mix well, and remove from heat.
Step 5 : Meanwhile, have the rice ready in a pot so that it remains al dente, in the Panamanian style.
Step 6 : Add the golden strips prepared in the skillet to the beans, stir everything, and turn off the heat.
Step 7 : Serve on plates, add the sauté on top, and accompany with a glass of lime juice with sugarcane syrup.
