Ingredients

2 Eggs

2 Yolks

2 cups of Milk

½ cup of Liqueur

½ teaspoon of Salt

1 teaspoon of Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1 : In a container, add the eggs and beat lightly.

Step 2 : In a pot, pour the milk and add sugar to taste.

Step 3 : Bring to a boil for approximately 3 minutes.

Step 4 : Then, add half a cup of water and more sugar if necessary to the boiled milk.

Step 5 : Mix this preparation with the eggs, adding vanilla and rum.

Step 6 : In a separate pot, place a cup of sugar just moistened over low heat.

Step 7 : Let it brown without moving until it acquires an amber color.

Step 8 : Carefully, pour this caramel around the mold using the tip of a knife.

Step 9 : Next, add the boiled milk mixture with the other ingredients to the mold.

Step 10 : Place the mold in a water bath over low heat and cover.

Step 11 : To check if the flan is ready, insert a toothpick and when it comes out clean, it means it is cooked.

Step 12 : Finally, serve the flan cold.
