Queen's Bite
Ingredients
1 can of Cream of milk
1 can of Condensed milk
1 teaspoon of Salt
2 Egg yolks
4 tablespoons of Cornstarch
½ cup of Raisins
1 Cinnamon stick
½ cup of Rum
3 cups of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
½ cup of Prunes
1 Cake
Preparation
Step 1 : Cut the cake into small squares or cocaditas and place them in a deep container.
Step 2 : In a pot, add water and sugar, then bring to a boil with the prunes, raisins, and a cinnamon stick until the raisins swell.
Step 3 : Remove from heat and let rest until cooled, then add rum and stir to combine the ingredients.
Step 4 : Pour this mixture over the cakes.
Step 5 : In a heated pot over low heat, combine condensed milk, cream, ½ cup of water, sugar, and salt.
Step 6 : When the mixture is warm, gradually add the dissolved cornstarch in ½ cup of water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Step 7 : After mixing well, cook over low heat for about 10 minutes and add vanilla.
Step 8 : Pour this mixture over the cakes.
Step 9 : Finally, decorate with egg whites whipped to meringue, adding 2 tablespoons of sugar per egg white.
Step 10 : Decorate with silver and colorful sprinkles.
