Ingredients

2 Green medium-sized papayas

2 Large coconuts

4 cups of Honey

Preparation

Step 1 : The papaya must be peeled and seeded, while the coconut pulp should be extracted.

Step 2 : Then, grate the papaya on the coarser side of the grater and the coconut on the finer side.

Step 3 : In a pot, mix the grated papaya, grated coconut, and honey, stirring well until the ingredients are integrated.

Step 4 : Cook over high heat until a thick mixture forms, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.

Step 5 : Using a wooden spoon, stir the mixture until the bottom of the pot is visible.

Step 6 : If the mixture no longer returns to its place, it means it is ready.

Step 7 : Spread the mixture on a flat surface, cut into the desired-sized squares, and let cool.

Step 8 : Finally, place them on cane leaves and they're ready.
