Ingredients

12 Maranons

1 cup of Sugar

½ cup of Roasted maranon seeds

1 teaspoon of Salt

½ teaspoon of Nutmeg

½ teaspoon of Cloves

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, boil water and add sugar, mixing well until completely dissolved, forming a syrup.

Step 2 : Cut the maranons into small cubes after washing and removing the seeds and central part.

Step 3 : Add the maranons to the syrup, cover the pot, and cook until the water reduces, the maranons change color, and crumble.

Step 4 : Then add the roasted and peeled maranon seeds, along with nutmeg and salt.

Step 5 : Reduce the heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens to the desired consistency.
