Traditional Sancocho

1 Whole chicken
2 Onions
5 Chopped garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of Dried oregano
1 pound of Plantains
12 cups of Water
1 Bouillon cube
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
