Rice with Pork and Various Vegetables
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of Oil
1 Onion
2 Garlic cloves
1 kilogram of Boneless pork chops
2 cups of Rice
2 cups of Water
5 teaspoons of Broth
1 teaspoon of Ground annatto
2 cups of Mixed vegetables
Preparation
Step 1 : The recipe begins by chopping the garlic cloves and onion, and cutting the pork chops into cubes, then setting them aside.
Step 2 : In a pot with hot oil, sauté the garlic and onion until they are translucent.
Step 3 : Add the pork meat and cook, stirring constantly, until browned.
Step 4 : Then add the rice, annatto, and broth, mix everything and bring to a boil.
Step 5 : Cover the pot, reduce the heat to the minimum, and let cook for 20 minutes until the rice is ready.
Step 6 : Next, add the mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
