Ingredients

Desgranado corn

2 cups of Chicken broth

1 cup of Capers

1 cup of Raisins

300 grams of Shredded chicken

1 cup of Olives

Banana leaves

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, first grind the corn until you obtain a masa (dough).

Step 2 : Then, work with half a kilogram of corn masa and add chicken broth to knead it very well.

Step 3 : On a banana leaf previously greased with a bit of oil, place some masa and fill with shredded chicken, capers, olives, and raisins.

Step 4 : Close the banana leaf and tie it with kitchen twine.

Step 5 : Finally, place the tamales in boiling water for 10 minutes.
