Panamanian Seafood Guchito

Ingredients

1 pound of Mixed seafood

½ pound of Pre-cooked shrimp

2 tablespoons of Oil

2 Minced garlic cloves

1 tablespoon of Paprika

¼ cup of Diced tomatoes

¼ Diced red pepper

¼ cup of Chopped cilantro

¼ Onion

1 tablespoon of Salt

1 tablespoon of Ground black pepper

1 cup of Rice

4 cups of Water

1 tablespoon of Seafood seasoning

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté the seafood and shrimp together with the garlic for 3 minutes.

Step 2 : Then, add the paprika, stir, and add the tomatoes, red pepper, cilantro, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.

Step 3 : Add the rice, sauté for 2 minutes, then add the 4 cups of water, the seasoning, and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4 : Next, add the Worcestershire sauce, stir, cover the skillet, and cook over low heat until the rice is cooked.

Step 5 : Once ready, remove from heat and serve this delicious seafood guchito.
