Ingredients

1 kilogram of Beef flank

2 Medium onions

Tomato paste

Oil

2 Bell peppers

2 Tomatoes

4 Cilantro leaves

4 Garlic cloves

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The meat is cleaned and washed, then placed in a pot with enough water and cooked until tender.

Step 2 : Then, remove the meat and let it cool to shred it, reserving the broth.

Step 3 : Julienne the onions and bell peppers, and dice the tomatoes.

Step 4 : In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté the vegetables with the chopped garlic.

Step 5 : Add some tomato paste for the sauce, then incorporate the meat, broth, and season with oregano, cilantro, and salt.

Step 6 : Cook for 30 minutes over low heat until the sauce starts to reduce.

Step 7 : Serve with tostones or potatoes.
