Ingredients

2 Boneless chicken breasts

¾ cup of Cornstarch

1 cup of Flour

1 Egg

½ cup of Orange juice

¼ cup of Rice vinegar

1 tablespoon of Grated orange zest

2 tablespoons of Soy sauce

½ cup of Brown sugar

2 Garlic cloves

1 Scallion stalk

1 ½ cup of Water

1 pinch of Salt

Oil

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The chicken is cut into cubes and marinated in a mixture of cornstarch, flour, salt, pepper, egg, oil, and water for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2 : In a skillet with hot oil, fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and then set aside.

Step 3 : In a saucepan, heat oil and sauté chopped garlic.

Step 4 : Then add orange juice and zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and cook over low heat.

Step 5 : Add diluted cornstarch in water and cook until thickened.

Step 6 : Then add the chicken cubes, stir well, and remove from heat.

Step 7 : To serve, garnish with chopped scallions and accompany with white rice.
