Gallo pinto
Ingredients

½ kilogram of Rice
½ kilogram of Beans
1 kilogram of Pork tail
3 Medium onions
2 Tomatoes
1 Bell pepper
4 Garlic cloves
5 Chopped cilantro leaves
2 Chicken broth cubes
2 tablespoons of Chinese sauce
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 can of Tomato sauce
¼ cup of Oil
Preparation
Step 1 : Soak the pork tail in water to remove the salt for 30 minutes and set aside.
Step 2 : In a pot with hot water, add the pork tail, a onion, chopped bell pepper, minced garlic, cilantro, Worcestershire sauce, Chinese sauce, and broth cubes, cooking on low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 3 : Then, add the rice and cover with water if necessary, cooking on low heat covered for about 20 minutes.
Step 4 : In a separate skillet, heat oil and sauté two chopped onions and diced tomatoes, adding tomato sauce and cooking for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5 : Finally, serve the Gallo Pinto topped with a little of the sauté for extra flavor.
