Ingredients

6 Chops

1 Head of onion

5 Lemons

Olive oil

½ cup of Honey

1 pinch of Salt

Smoked paprika

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, heat olive oil to sear the chops.

Step 2 : Season the chops with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, then place them in the hot skillet to brown, about 3 minutes per side.

Step 3 : Once browned, remove the chops, and in the same skillet, add chopped onions and optionally some pork fat to sauté them.

Step 4 : To caramelize the onions, add the juice of 5 lemons and let it reduce a bit.

Step 5 : Then, add the honey and mix well.

Step 6 : Return the chops to the skillet and cook for about 20 minutes on each side.

Step 7 : Once ready, the chops are ready to enjoy.
