Ingredients

250 grams of Salted cod

500 grams of Raw blanched ackee

1 Chili

1 Onion

1 Tomato

½ Red bell pepper

½ Green pepper

1 Garlic clove

1 Thyme branch

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this dish, first cook the salted cod and ackee in boiling water for 20 minutes.

Step 2 : Once ready, discard the water and cool the ingredients in cold water, then remove bones and fish spines.

Step 3 : Next, finely chop all the vegetables needed for the recipe.

Step 4 : In a pan with hot oil, add the salted cod, peppers, onions, thyme, and garlic.

Step 5 : Sauté for approximately 5 minutes until well browned.

Step 6 : Then add the ackee and tomatoes to the pan, continuing to sauté for another 2 minutes.

Step 7 : Season to taste and serve the dish hot to enjoy all the flavors and aromas of this delicious preparation.
