Panamanian Resbaladera Drink
Ingredients
1 liter of Milk
4 tablespoons of Powdered milk
1 cup of Rice
Vanilla
Cloves
Cinnamon
Ice
Preparation
Step 1 : The rice is washed and left to soak in water for 12 hours.
Step 2 : Meanwhile, bring water with cloves and cinnamon to a boil in a pot.
Step 3 : In another pot, cook the rice with water until reduced.
Step 4 : Remove from heat and let it cool.
Step 5 : Once the cinnamon infusion is cold, place it in a blender and blend.
Step 6 : Set aside and strain.
Step 7 : In a blender, mix half of the cooked rice with milk, powdered milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla essence, and cinnamon essence.
Step 8 : Pour into a pot.
Step 9 : Repeat the blending process with the remaining rice and the same ingredients.
Step 10 : Strain the mixture and serve with ice and sugar to taste.
