Ingredients

4 Ears of new corn

1 Egg

50 grams of Butter

1 teaspoon of Baking powder

100 grams of Flour

1 pinch of Sugar

1 pinch of Salt

Coconut oil

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these delicious corn fritters, first shell the ears with a knife, reserving the husks for use in a soup later.

Step 2 : Then, in a food processor, blend the kernels of corn with the egg, butter, baking powder, flour, sugar, and salt until forming a thick, homogeneous dough.

Step 3 : If the dough is somewhat liquid, add more flour until achieving the right consistency.

Step 4 : Next, heat plenty of oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 5 : Using a spoon, form the fritters and carefully place them in the hot oil.

Step 6 : Let them brown on one side, then turn them to brown evenly on the other side.

Step 7 : Once golden, remove from the oil and place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
